Dear Forum Members

On Monday 1st August, Delcam officially joined the worldwide Autodesk family.

Since the Delcam forums were created, we have accumulated over 53,000 posts in 10,000 topics, and now have almost 2,000 registered users like you, providing each other with much appreciated help and advice on a daily basis. We very much want that to continue, and invite you to join us at the new Autodesk forums:

Autodesk FeatureCAM - http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/featurecam-forum/bd-p/276
Autodesk PowerINSPECT - http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/powerinspect-forum/bd-p/278
Autodesk PowerMill - http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/powermill-forum/bd-p/280
Autodesk PowerSHAPE - http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/powershape-forum/bd-p/282

These are all free to join, and signing up will only take a few moments.

The ‘Community FAQ’ http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/community-faq/bd-p/1052 has some useful information to help you setup and manage your forum account. Please spend a few minutes looking through this guide.

From Monday 8th of August the Delcam forums will be put into ‘read-only’ mode, and closed to new users. All of the existing posts will remain, though, as there is a lot of useful knowledge contained in them.

I would like to thank you all for your contribution towards making the Delcam forums such a success over the years, and look forward to continuing to work with you to make the new Autodesk equivalents better than ever.

Trying to sign up to the new autodesk forum, won't go past the sign-up form.
It gets stuck with "Saving" text, and a rotating icon.

Using Firefox.
Can't ask for help on the autodesk forum, since I cant sign-up for it :D

I think the sign up process has been finished and you are already members there. Just try to log in now.

I'm wondering why one can't find PowerMiLL forum and other products' in the main lists of discussions and ideas! Maybe Autodesk needs to update them.

As with any major changes like this, there will be a few issues to iron out. Please bear with us.

All of the Autodesk websites and forums work best with Internet Explorer. It is also advisable to set 'compatibility mode'. Start IE and click the 'settings' icon. Choose 'Compatibility View settings' from the drop-down and add 'Autodesk.com' to the list.

The existing Delcam forum will *not* be deleted, just locked so no new info/questions/users can be added. We know that there is a vast amount of information here, and that needs to be preserved as it's a useful resource for all.

Unfortunately, it is not going to be possible to transfer all of the posts directly over to the Autodesk sites, as the two systems are completely different.

To be fair now ive had a good look around the site i find no way of getting to the new powermill forum through the autodesk forum homepage has any body else found this or maybe someone can point me in the right direction to the forum apart from JOHNH link above

i do hope to see great improvements in this area and hopefully the new version of powermill will have the forum working just as good as this original forum does

thanks

The 'switches' to make the various forums visible from the Autodesk sites will be set later today.
